History
“Responsive Services International Corporation (RSI) was incorporated as Data Enterprises, Incorporated on August 1, 1983. The company was started by Mr. Stephen L. Miller and he is still the current president and CEO. The early mission of the company was to provide technology support services to both the old mainframe/microcomputer world and the new world of microchip based PC’s. Early clients included the City of Lubbock, Texas Tech University and TTU Health Sciences Center and Lubbock ISD to name a few. The company experienced robust growth and in 1989, the name of the corporation was changed to Responsive Services International Corporation to more accurately reflect the changes in the industry and a renewed focus on providing not only equipment needs but also, and more importantly, IT network services to assist clients with the overall performance and management of their network. By 1994, RSI had offices in Lubbock, El Paso, and Amarillo and had clients located from the Oklahoma Panhandle south to Juarez, Mexico. The company still maintains a presence in Amarillo, El Paso, and has its corporate office in Lubbock, Texas, though clients stretch throughout the state.”
